oil temp on VAGCOM?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering how to check oil temp on VAGCOM - going through the 6 groups doesnt show it anywhere, theres only coolant temp, which incidentally is about 15C higher than my gauge temp! also, is there anything related to the fan controller, ie whether the relays are ok, or the temp sensors are fine (yellow, blue black).

I have no reported errors (at the moment  )

Has you are so goin to hate me when i pop over lol. Id like to know how accurate my temps are too! Im willing to bet they're a bit off as i blew my crackpipe with both my oil and coolant temps reading pretty normal (oil was 112ish and coolant between 90-100, bare in mind i was stuck in traffic for about 45 mins)...

VAG COM doesn't show oil temp, it can only display sensors that connect to the ecu, the oil temp isn't one of these.

There usually is a discrepancy between the gauge and what the ECU says, might be worth getting a new temp sensor for the ECU though, just to placate yourself.
