Wompa 0 Posted August 29, 2010 Hi. I had a crash last week and the radiator are scrap... Im looking for a cheap radiator with quality. I dont know I the 300pounds radiators are better than a 150pounds one... ARZ Tuning have a for 180eurp from VALEO that seems quite nice. And then there is Ebay... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLKSWAGEN-CORRAD ... rParts_SMv Very cheap but worth it? And this one.. http://cgi.ebay.de/Wasserkuhler-VW-Corr ... beh%C3%B6r I feel that the German Ebay is better for Corrado spares and the price is a bit higher but maybe better quality? Any ideas? //Thomas
Jon_vr6 1 Posted August 29, 2010 Stick with an OEM one mate from the dealers will fit 100% and last a lot lot longer than one from a 3rd party
big ben 10 Posted August 29, 2010 how much is a VW rad? i fitted one last week but it was a VW reconditioned one painted black, it was £100. may be worth seeing if you can source one of those?

Wompa 0 Posted August 29, 2010 Not more? Then I will check with my local Vw dealer.
tandino 0 Posted August 29, 2010 I think if i was going to be paying 2-300 quid for a rad id want an uprated Ally one for that sort of money. Have you enquired what Euro's and GSF rads are and who theyre made by?,lets not forget its not Vw who make the radiator themselves so you might be able to source a VW rad from the OEM supplier, id have a guess it would be made by BEHR or similar?? mr.ots 10 Posted August 29, 2010 I'd stick with the original VW one to be honest. I replaced mine about a year ago now and I think it cost me around £150 ish from the dealers. I'm pretty sure they are made by a company in the UK but can't remember their name.
big ben 10 Posted August 29, 2010 that might be the company who refurbed mine, sounds familiar?
