vwjamie27 0 Posted September 7, 2010 Im not sure if this would be the right section for this, but anyway i am having problems with the electric windows. they aren't working. i have checked the fuses but cant seem to find the correct one for them and all fuses seem to be fine, i have checked the wiring between the doors and all seem intact checked the motors work and they are working. the passenger switch on the passenger side was working and the passenger one on the drivers side was working aswell. the drivers one wont work at all, and now they both won't work at all. i took the door card off and its like a spagetti junction of wires. i have checked the 4 main wires that come through the door for a live and dont seem to be getting any power. can anyone shed any light on this please. thanks jamie Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

VR6 0 Posted September 8, 2010 Sounds like you might need a new window control unit. It's behind the drivers rear quarter panel - take that off and you will see a box with wires fed into it.
