Sorry...another "will these wheels fit?" question

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Long shot, but would these wheels fit a VR:

They are 16x8" ET34. However, they have a different stud pattern so adapters would have to be used. I ideally wanted a staggered look, so would like 15mm fronts and 20mm rears. This would make the overall offsets:

Front: ET19

Rear: ET14

I'm thinking that at the least I may need my rear arches rolled a tad? I ran 9x16 ET15 rears before and only needed a slight roll so i might be lucky?

As for the fronts, I'm not too sure, anyone got a similar (or bigger) setup? Not too sure if I'd like my arches rolled y'see. I could run equal 15mm adapters all round too.

As for rubber, a 205 would be ideal, would using a 195 help? Plan to go a little lower, too.

Any replies are lovingly received :luvlove:

Cheers,

Nick

If you've had 16x9 before the surely you'll be ok with 16x8? It's going to be 11mm less poke?

Hopefully that's the case, but I wonder if the 11mm would mean that I wouldn't need to mess with the rear arches

I think my main concern is for the fronts, although I have seen people here running 9" fronts! Thanks for the reply anyway Duke :salute:

yes

So they wouldn't foul the stock arches? :norty:
