TheWizardofOdds 0 Posted November 16, 2010 Anyone know their Porsche's? I was checking out this 968 on Autotrader and nice as it is, I'm not sure that it's a Club Sport as advertised. Everything seems ok except colour wasn't a CS option, I think? Seats are different too? Long shot but worth a go... Cheers. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/image-galle ... rd-listing
jackvine 0 Posted November 16, 2010 Doesn't look right as a club sport ! Should be yellow ! or white and it has a rear wiper which was deleted on the club sport model

Maybe colour was an option, seems a bit of Sport and bit of Club.

vr6storm 0 Posted November 17, 2010 it still could be genuine tho,the CS could also be ordered with most of the deleted stuff back on(ie standard seats, rear wiper and met paint etc),the only sure way to check is by contacting Porsche GB
TheWizardofOdds 0 Posted November 17, 2010 http://www.porsche968uk.co.uk/porsche-968-club-sport.htm :D 'The CS came in Black, Maritime Blue, Guards Red, Grand Prix White and Speed Yellow. The red, white or black Club Sport script down the side was standard on the CS but was a no cost option to delete it from the spec.' Cheers. Well the colour's not club Sport standard at least, good source of info.

Yeah that seems likely. Why go to all that bother though, just get a Sport? All he 'gets' of A CS is deleted rear seats/less electrics? The CS is quite a premium over the Sport, generally. I think the Sport is pretty good close though, I'd get the seats from the CS.
