At first glance it looks fully repairable, rear quarter panel and a door.. Dunno how much it'd cost in the UK, but I'd think it should be covered by the insurance..? Though, how's the b-pillar..?

Bugger! did they accept liability mate, definately fixable but not the greatest pics, a good body shop will probably pull that out and repair it rather than fit a new panel.

 

As said what is the B pilar like behind the ding?

Got a quote today thing needs a new rear quater quotes 1300 without parts. called vw for a rear panel want 500 for outer and 500 for inner anyone got one on here id be greatfull i wont let it die

 

At a thousand for parts alone you might want to look at the option of looking for a cheap whole car secondhand, removing the panels you need, and scrapping/selling as much of the rest as you can to recover most of what you spent (if not make a small profit). Might also leave you with some useful spare parts.

 

Realise this will also depend on your circumstances, how handy you are with tools, whether you have storage etc, but it's just a suggestion...
