This is madness

Recommended Posts

Insurance renewal for the VR6.

Tried Direct Line because I have Buildings and Contents insurance so surely get some discount.

So I am respectable middle aged man, good postcode, 3 yrs NCB, 3 pts SP30 :nono: , 5000 miles etc

Fully Comp £410

TPFT £445

Yes that's right - Fully comprehensive CHEAPER than third party!

Madness!  :cuckoo:

For some reason these days TPF&T does always seem to come out more expensive than fully comp.. can only assume insurers stick the price up to deter you from going anything but fully comp!

Strange though when you think a FC pay out will be more than a TPFT as the insurer pays to repair YOUR car and whatever object(s) you damage.

Chris Knott are definately worth a car, great bunch and did me a cracking deal :-)
