Electric Windows Module

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know how to check if the Electric Windows Module is faulty? My windows will not go up and down, I here the module making a clicking noise as well as a clicking in the door motor. I don't want to start replacing things that aren't broke.

disassemble that module and inspect it. look for bad solderings etc. mine was faulty and it came back to life with a bit of iron soldering

I am also suffering with an intermittent window problem

Comes and goes - hear the clicking/ clunking behind the door card, but sometimes the drivers window won't go up an down!!

Checked and cable isnt snapped.

Anyone had this problem before??

I ahve something similar - my drivers side wont go up or down without the engine on, although the relay clicks fine, its as though there is insufficient power going to the motor. I'd be interested in what people come up with...
