Poly bush harshness

Recommended Posts

Has anyone got much experience with front poly bushes good or bad? I fitted these

The ride on standard suspension is awfull and and at very high speed I get a terrible vibration through the steering wheel to the point where it looks a blur despite having the tyres balanced. The car just feels like it is under dampened. Before I go to the considerable trouble and expense of refitting standard bushes is there anthing anyone would suggest that may help the problem? I'm open to suggestions.

Unfortunately not, I did the same thing and never using poly again - standard all the way!

Did you get the same result as me? underdampened on the bumps and horrible vibrations at around 70mph? The car is now horrifically bad. I'm thinking of just buying a new pair of wishbones with standard bushes already in because its such a job changing the bushes.

I have Polybushes, and have had nothing but good experiences.

I'd suggest your problems have nothing to do with bushes, unless they were incorrectly fitted?
