Any precautions needed before a big run out?

Hi All,

 

I'll be driving my C from Middlesbrough to Edinburgh tomorrow, it first really big run out since I' bought it @14 months ago. All servicing is up to date as are tyre's pressure's,fluids etc. Is there any pre drive checks I should check out? i.e bottle of redex etc?

Thats not a long drive. Just the usual fluids checks then drive it. It will probably do it some good.

Nope. If you've checked fluids, tyre pressures etc and had a nose around for any obvious leaks or anything then I'd say you're good to go :)

150 miles? Nothing to worry about, its no more likely to go wrong than on any other drive, as others said, if thats a long run for you then the car will probably thank you for it!

Yep, it's a long run for me, I usually only commute to work and back, @20 miles round trip!!

I did 250miles yesterday in mine and the vr is better for it. I always keep a hose repair kit on me just in case lol, I hate leaks.
