What's this part?

After I did the bulk of the work with chains / head gasket etc.. I had this bit of plastic left over, any ideas what it does and where it goes?

I believe that jobber sits against the radiator at the passenger end?

 

Acts a bit like an air guide, sits in the area with the large gap, as the rad is not flush with the bumper and grille.

 

I may be mistaken though, hopefully someone else can confirm this.

Yep defiantly goes against the radiator and bolts to the cross member too iirc very near to the power steering cooling pipe

Use those radiator trims if you can fella. They stop schitt being blasted into the engine compartment (snow, rain, grit etc) and also funnel the air in the radiator for more effective cooling.

cheers kev, I will do so.... roll on 5th / 6th feb when the car will actually be able to drive out of my garage at long last :)
