mimjed 0 Posted August 21, 2014 wouldn't be huge amounts of work to fit an r32 in, but the cost of the lump is at least double a 24v, and for the 40 ponies or so you gain its not really worth it in my opinion. will have the head off the current engine so i can go to town on it and get it flowing nicely. going to keep plowing on in it until it gets bad. just keep taking the sump off and cleaning it out for now. Swompy 0 Posted August 21, 2014 Still not nice knowing what I thought was sorted in isn't and has come back in another form. Still feel bad none the less. Just hope it's not too much of a problem for you.
mimjed 0 Posted August 21, 2014 no mate, don't feel bad. cars are cars and ultimately something will go wrong sooner or later. being a corrado normally sooner :bonk: its at worst going to be £250 and a Saturday changing it over. It's a bit of a ball ache its happened so soon, but can get bits changed out on it while doing it.

Sean_Jaymo 0 Posted August 21, 2014 The stamp is usually on the opposite end to the gearbox at rear edge.
