pPLEASE HELP AUTO MANUAL WIRING!!!!! DESPERATE TIMES

ok used search and found a few things but nothing concrete

 

need to know the wiring side of the auto - manual conversions...

 

specifically the reverse lights speed sensor etc where do the wires come from and where do they go i have no clue on what im looking at and this is the only thing im stuck on in getting the car fired up!! im so excited!!!!!

reverse lights are a pain - i hope you've not pulled the auto loom out as i just cut into this and wired it up to the reverse switch on top of the gearbox. Have a look on my thread, i just looked at the wiring diagram and connected accordingly - cant quite remember how i did it, but i've got the necessary pics in my thread :shrug:

Haven't got a Haynes nor a bently..

 

I've extended the White and yellow wires from the auto box loom to the manual box and connected an original plug on it kept all wire colours original the speed Denise plug had plenty of length so that just plugged straight in, I've just got to wire up the starter and something to so with a black red wire??

 

Not sure if there is any wiring needed inside the car as that is where I am also getting stuck..

 

I've looked at several threads on here but there are no pics to back up what is being said ao I'm finding it hard to follow as im not sure what/where I've got to splice into....

 

Stupid stupid question which way round does the starter fit??? Is the solenoid underneath or does it go on top?

 

Seems to fit both ways but looking at it the holes are thicker at one end compared to the other

solenoid goes on top. The white & yellow wires go to the black and grey wires behind solenoid 150 on the relay panel. Give me a sec and i'll dig out some more info.

can you or anybody else tell me what the blue /black wire and black wire do ??

 

i mean why do you have to move them?

 

what is thier purpose?
