VR6Pete 0 Posted January 29, 2011 Hiya. Took a look as to why my headlights flapped up and down today! Took them out to find the securing screws looking like this; Anyone know what parts I'd need to secure them back in and how they actually attach? Also, one of the top securing plastic tabs has snapped - would it be easier just to get new lights or are they repairable? Want them looking neat and safe prior to going for an MOT! In there current state they would fail!
Riley 0 Posted January 29, 2011 Best bet is to remove that screw and replace it with a stainless one, but if one of the tabs has snapped it may be best to find a new casing. I think they are still available actually. :) Neil.
VR6Pete 0 Posted January 30, 2011 What sort of prices do the casings go for? The reflectors and everything else is in really good condition on mine, I'll have to drill out that screw I think!
Pat_McCrotch 0 Posted January 31, 2011 Don't think the casing comes seperate, but headlights can be got for £100 each with discount and you'd be amazed the difference they make to looks and beam quality.
