Need to change my clocks and have to correct mileage and want to do this myself no matter what will be the cost. WHat have You used. Is vag tach good for that or maybe something else, but what ?? dr_mat 0 Posted January 31, 2011 IIRC you can only increase the mileage (if you want to decrease it that means buying a new instrument cluster with zero miles on it), but that's the only (possibly useless) fact I can bring to this thread .. good luck .. ! I was close in buying a storm in 1998 that had been clocked 50K, it was only after contacting VW to confirm the history of the car it came to light. wish i took note of the reg plate afterwards :(. so threre is one storm in green going about with less miles on the clock Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
