Recommended Posts

Getting my car ready for the summer now, i need the two micro switches that sit on the throttle body, as mine sticks.

Cheers

potentiometer indicates exact position of throttle butterfly from closed through wide open

the microswitch controls the idle valve and is either open or closed.

The potentiometer will act in the same as the 2 switches. I had the earlier type with 2 switches before and the later type potentiometer now, it made no difference.

Just make sure that when you fix the potentiometer to the throttle body, it 'clicks' just as the butterflys open so the ecu knows exactly when you come 'off idle'

I think i may have a spare one you can have for a fiver?
