VR6 Gar 10 Posted March 1, 2011 nice easy one for you ...can I still remove it ok by undoing the bolts from inside with the headlining out, or are there screws that need to be undone with it open? Thought the motor was kaput, but seemingly just jammed, bonus.
ediekid76 10 Posted March 1, 2011 is it the motor you want to take out, cos from what i can see its only two countersunk screws :smug:

robrado974 1 Posted March 1, 2011 (edited) if it was me i would take the whole cassette out , then you can have a proper look at it , yes you can remove it with the cassette in . but you will proberbly find one of the sliders has broken . be very carefull when you put the sunroof back in as it has to be aligned properly or you will break the slider again as they are very weak . you will find plenty of knowhow on here to fit it back as it should be . also it is better to fit with two people one inside the car to tighten the screws as the other lines it up properly.regards rob Edited March 1, 2011 by robrado974
