Fog lights again!

Hi guys,

 

Just a quick one - will the fog lights from an K plate (93) fit my M plate (94):scratch:?

 

have broken lens and need to be sorted.

relying on dates isnt accurate, if they are the kind that include the housing for the indicator as well then yes they are correct, early lights dont have the indicator housing attached.

Guy goes into VW garage with his Corrado and reports "My foglight glass is broken!"

 

Crabby old service manager says "Ah, sir, you've been using 'em, haven't you?"

 

 

Certainly in Scotland, foglights should only be used in weather conditions comprising visibility of 100 metres or less, particularly in fog or blowing snow. Over the year as a whole, these criteria are rarely reached in most of the UK.

From heresay, the police here seem to delight in booking posers in swish motors who flaunt that law.

 

IMO, these expensive glasses break so easily through thermal stress, it is best to leave the front fogs off unless the fog is so thick you are having to drive at 30 mph or less.
