You only need that If you are running over 1bar of boost by using a small pully, you wont gain anything just by fitting it.

yes i understand this, lots of people adv theres not a great difference between the 65mm pully over the 68mm pully on my stage 4 charger. As when you get up the top of the rev range the ISV vents off boost due to the 1bar limit. Is this right?

So i was thinking on a 65mm pully and with the boost re routed back into the boost pipes i might be hitting over 1 bar?

its good to have but youre missing the part of reprogramming the ecu with the correct values to actually recognise the higher boost. i looked down this route but struggled to find alot on it.

 

the other way is to use a rally ecu (fitted with 1.5 as standard), there like rocking horse **** though.

 

richard is a memeber on here. i believe you can source them cheaper from bar-tek, but i havent looked for a long time.

 

best option - stick some cams in it and enjoy.

Shrick 276/268 have had good things said about them. Newman are good also.

 

Get headwork done at the same time to make the most of it.
