Gear Cable Fitting

Recommended Posts

Ok,im replacing my gear selector cable as the old one has broke. i have removed the heatsheild etc.The base plate under the linkage looks little confusing.Iv removed the four bolts on the underside of the car and the two from inside the car. The plate is still inplace-i have noticed that there are little bits of it bent holding it on,am i correct in thinking that if i bend these i will be able to access the linkage?

whats the best way to drop the exhaust??

Cheers Fraser

don't know about the linkage, but seeing as no-one else has posted, you need to undo the downpipe to centre section joint and lower the rest of the exhaust really, at least lower it at the mid section, much easier on a full garage ramp.
