hombre_paulo 0 Posted April 8, 2011 After being rear-ended recently and the corrado subsequently being written off :(:(:( I intend to break the car so that her spirit lives on through keeping other cars on the road This will be the first car I`ve ever broken so at the moment I`m planning in buying 4 good axle stands and a car cover so that if something like the sunroof or a door sells early on then the remainder will still be protected from the elements. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good car cover for a corrado? Any good times on breaking a car? Obviously staying on top of emails/forum posts etc is of upmost priority as is getting lots of packing materials before hand so that parts can be sent out quickly. But any other hints from those who have done this before? Once I am down to a bare shell (providing things go well) are local scrappies likely to collect for free due to the value in the metal or will i be looking at having to pay to have it removed? Thanks
Jim 2 Posted April 8, 2011 Halfords do a more than acceptable cover that's a good fit for the Corrado.. they're about £50. You want the "Medium" size one :)
hombre_paulo 0 Posted April 8, 2011 I did look at that one after reading previous discussions but £50 seems quite a large chunk of money for only a short period of use
