G60 ECU and chip

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, my friend had a bad ECU (injectors were fully open all the time) so he replaced it and now car runs fine. Thing is that his old ECU is custom mapped, we want to know can that chip be used. Is it possible that chip was bad and cause overfulling? If we use that chip from bad ECU can we destroy this ECU that is working? As you can see we dont know what was wrong with old one.

Thanks everyone on help.
