nlau1 0 Posted April 20, 2011 Hi everybody, Tried a search but couldn't find anything directly relevant. Basically, I'm getting a loud click from the drivers door when I open and shut. It clicks at the point it stays open, so basically, once halfway and once fully open and same again when closing. I've heard of the door sagging on Corrados, but not sure if this is the sane issue. fla 9 Posted April 20, 2011 not quite sure what you mean, but have a look at the stopping hinge - this is the slip bracket that prevents the door opening too wide, this may need cleaning. Also if the door has sagged, cut some thin shims and slip them into the upper hinge bracket. This in turn will take up any downward movement in the stopper hinge. nlau1 0 Posted April 20, 2011 Fla, this may sound a bit thick, but which part is the stopping hinge? Is it the gold/bronzy lever/arm about midway up the door jamb?
