jd89 10 Posted June 6, 2011 recently brought a 1993 vr6 corrado, had no problems with it till now, sometimes when i start it up it keeps dumping the revs then getting them back dumping them again and cuts out. It drives fine but sometimes it misfires. i have took the throttle body out and gave that a clean and have also gave the maf sensor a blast of wd40 but still continues to do it. would it be worth changing the ht leads and spark plugs?:-S any ideas what it can be and how to fix it?? thanks, jon
robrado974 1 Posted June 6, 2011 check plugs and leads ,change plugs if they are bad . or if you are ocd like me change em anyway. clean the leads with carb cleaner . the idle will proberbly be icv ,they get gunged up with crap . remove it and clean with carb cleaner as well , regards rob
