waynos 0 Posted June 8, 2011 right im prepping my car for a respray and i want the rear quarter windows out. ive searched and seen that the rubber adhesive can be cut using a long craft blade from the inside. gave it a go and its hard work! just wondered if anybody had any tips for me... tim20vt 0 Posted June 8, 2011 i cut all my windows out with some windscreen removing wire,you make a hole thread it through then fix it to two handles and saw it out,it does the parts you cant get to with a blade,i got it on ebay i also found loads of washing up liquid helps the cutting. i still broke one of 1/4 windows trying. monzablau16v 0 Posted June 17, 2011 I used a local windscreen company to remove them and reinstall them. Can't remember exactly how much it was for just the quarters, but I know removal and reinstallation of windscreen and both quarter windows came to £100 in total.
