subframe differences??? vr and 16v

Now i know i should know this, but what is the difference in the two? I know vr is wide track, but is vr wider? bolt holes in different places?

Yeah the gearbox mount on VR is the same shape as the rear engine mount.Four cylinders have different rear engine mount as it sits in a v-groove rather than cylinder shaped mount

so could you use vr wishbones with 16v subframe and have wide track?

Wishbone mountings n steering rack mounts are all the same, you'll need more n just vr wishbones to widen your track, you will also need vr hubs and arb and steering rack, which means you will also be changing to five stud, so you'll also want the vr rear stubs. Along with a change of wheels, and your front brakes need to be considered also as these will now be 5stud. In goin wide track you also gain a few degrees castor which is rarely a bad thing.
