Wiper motor cover

Just working on the thermostat on the C and noticed that there is a cover at the N/S end of the channel below the windscreen, but nothing covering the ECU and wiper motor. Is this right?

 

If not can someone post a pic of what the covers should look like?

yeah, no full cover on the corrado, but that's because there are no holes in the bonnet (like a mk2) so it doesn't need one, a few people have fitted passat wiper motor covers just to make it look a little more tidy or cut a mk2 scuttle cover to fit the full length

The Passat cover is cheap as chips and the mk2 cover is easy to fit. A good combo and look oem 8)

The pic. below shows the Passat wiper motor cover in situ. Part number is 3A2 955 128 and it's available from your dealer for somewhere around £3-£4. It simply snaps into place over the motor.

Thanks for the pic and the part number...That passat wiper motor cover looks great looks like a nice snug fit... Good price too!! Will stop water getting all over wiper motor when I open the front bonnet when wet.
