robo22sri 10 Posted August 10, 2011 Has anyone got a pic of the HU loom wiring? mine has had the speaker cables all cut off! and re joined and the original smaller block for the power has 2 cables left in it and the rest joined! the stero is always on live and doesnt have a ignition switch live argh!! cheers Rob Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
robo22sri 10 Posted August 11, 2011 any one know what the blue with a white strip is for?? it is with the power cables in the black block! i have worked out that the red with a white strip is the 12v live, brown is the ground, blue with a grey strip is the dimmer?!? andycowuk 0 Posted August 11, 2011 i am talking from memory, so might not be 100%.. On one connector block are the power and control lines... Blue/white is the remote - its supposed to go to 12v when the stereo is on. Yellow is the perm live Red is ignition live Brown is earth there is a dimmer one on there too The other block should then have pairs of speaker wires that sort of match ie purple and purple\white stripe for each of the 4 corners.. That is from memory - i havent been behind the head unit recently so I'd deffinatelt just get in about it with a multimeter! Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
