fla 9 Posted August 19, 2011 When at a standstill with the indicator on the revs fluctuate a few hundred rpms with the indicator - seems bizarre... I imagine it must be something to do with the voltage regulator on the alternator? If so, can it be repaired or does it need replacement? Any tips etc? nrc 0 Posted August 23, 2011 The regulator should be pretty easy to swap out after you've removed the alternator. They're generally cheap enough just to replace and should be readily available from auto electricians or motor factors. Also, what condition is your battery in?
