gearbox and engine mounts

car may possibly need new mounts

 

was thinking of upgrading them, anyone got any suggestions and i believe there are 3?

 

its a 91 g60 with couple of mods etc, chip and pulley etc

I think this is the general thought of whats best for a G60:

 

MK2 Golf Diesel Gearbox Mount

OE style rear mount

Vibratechnics front mount.

 

Some people go for a solid front mount, but in my experience it's far too rattly and the bolts are known to work loose over time or crack the actual mount bracket.

The VT one is kinda semi-solid. So somewhere in-between a solid and OE mount.

so those 3 are my best bet then? any ideas where i could order all 3 from in one go instead of various suppliers

Just fit all standard, 16v doesn't really need a stiffer front mount and they transfer more noise and vibration.
