Hi. Recently got myself a new drivers door handle and key off e-bay. To fit handle is it just a case of opening door, removing screw,withdrawing old handle and then fitting new handle ? Or does it involve taking door panel off ?

In a word....Nearly :D

 

IIRC you need to take the inside door panel off to disconnect the old handle wiring and then connect the new handle wiring.

 

Make sure the wiring doesn't foul the window before you put everything back together.

Was hoping it would be a case of just removing screw but thought there might be a bit more involved.

No problem - taking the door card off is simple enough though. Make sure you have the membrane back in position, otherwise you might find puddles in the car when it rains :)
