Henny 0 Posted March 16, 2004 Is money an issue, and how extreme do you wanna go?!? ;) If money is an issue, Strip out the interior so that you have basically nothing in there except for a seat, steering wheel and a set of clocks to stay egal and tell what your car is doing. Remove the front fog lamps. Strip off the air box and replace with a cone filter. Remove the ironwork from behind the bumpers and just mount the skins onto the car Take out the spare wheel and tools If money's not an issue, do the above and then these parts will help: Carbon Fibre bonnet Lexan side and rear windows (Polycarbonate) Light racing alloys Carbon fibre rear spoiler (or just put a fixed one on and remove the original one and it's motor and mechanism Put in a manual sunroof and window winders Remove the suspension and fit coilovers Get a custom made mild steel or alloy exhaust It's all a question of how far you wanna go, and what you want to use the car for... 8)
Mike Edwards 0 Posted March 16, 2004 Strip out all the sound deadening material - it weighs LOTS. Your car will then be unpleasantly noisy, but significantly lighter. :D
