No mate, checked the tensioner bolt earlier and it had air in it. So I bled it and things improved for a while, then the coarsness and lack of power came back, so I'm just wondering if a new bolt will help maintain the pressure on the tensioner blade at high rpms. Worth a shot anyway.

I stuck a stethoscope on the tensioner housing and not a hint of chain slap, but I'll inspect it anyway when I do the Schrick.
