m4ttj4mes 10 Posted December 17, 2011 hey guys, looks like a common problem due to some of the other threads about but after my headlights have been on for a while the switch in the cab tends to get very hot (on the surface) you can keep your finger pressed on it but only just... after seeing the 'fire preventive' thread im now ****ting a packet! would you recommend an uprated wiring loom? car is completely original and wiring could look better tbh... really dont want something going bang or up in flames - or do i just need to do the in-line fuse on the earth wire (top left brown?) returning fro mthe switch instead? advice needed guys! standard bulbs i believe, thanks! mattt
Critical_Mass 10 Posted December 17, 2011 (edited) Hi matt Speak to matt8v - he was selling a batch of head light switches from china. There's a thread about it somewhere. Would be worth seeing if he has any left? http://www.the-corrado.net/showthread.php?57486-Late-Headlight-Switch....New-Batch-Delivered.&highlight=headlight+switch Edited December 17, 2011 by Critical_Mass
