Which alarm mate?

Have you tried holding the button down on the fob...

It's a scorpion and I have tried holding it for a bit and tried holding both buttons together

Is the bat ok in your fob? What about your 12V?

As you were (no doubt) testing your lights you might need to throw some charge into your 12V.

The bats are ok in both, 12v is only a few months old and the fobs are fine aswel.

I've just found out that I've got a key for the alarm, will this help??

Can you actually get in to the car - are you locked out?

Yeah I can get in and drive it, I just can't use the fob to lock or unlock the car.

Did you try the key switch

Sounds like a fuse to me

No not yet, hoping to have a go tomorrow mate.

Fuse?? Where will it be? I'll have a look and see if it's blown

Well Thank you guys for all your help cause I've fixed it today.

This is what I did:-

a) Disconnected battery for 1 hour.

b) Turn Ignition ON.

c) Reconnect battery.

d) Turn ignition OFF.

e) Press remote control for 10 seconds.

Worked first time for me.

Thanks again guys.

Johnny
