Recommended Posts

Morning!

How much for the front comps and what model are they?

I have stands door pods etc so will they fit with the cross over etc?

Thanks.

Hi Pete, I don't have model no's yet. I'll update the thread when I've had the cards off.

And yep everything drops straight in.

Price dropped to 250 as 275 seemed optimistic! 150 without the amp...

I could do with this lot gone soonish.

Prices dropped again, I'd prefer to keep the amp.

£220 for the lot, £125 without the amp, £100 without the amp and amp rack (so boot floor, sub, sub box).

Hmm half tempted as I wanted to remove the sub box that came with my car and was starting to read up on this sort of thing. Buying might be easier than starting from scratch although my current sub would then be redundant. A quick question... Can you lift the boot floor to access the spare wheel without removing the side boxes?

Also, I have a 12" Alpine in there at the moment. I'm not an audio expert so how good are JL in comparison to Alpine?

Lol It depends on model etc but JL is generally regarded as being better.

The boot floor can be lifted no probs but you have to push the rear seats forward a couple inches n lift and push the false floor until u clear the sub then pull it out as usual. Sounds long but it's a 5 second thing.

You're more then welcome to get a listen Before buying...

Thanks. I'll have a think and come back to you as I'm also half tempted to build something and get it just how I want it. But I'm sure this will sound fine for me; I have the sub turned right down anyway as I'm not one for huge thumping bass.

This will suit your tastes perfectly then as its perfect for filling in the gaps at decent volumes. It won't make your car fall apart with bass though which I guess you don't want anyway lol.

Can i just add to this, JL Audio subs are very good quality subs. The sound quality is impressive and controlled. Im running a 12 w3 in a sealed box and the sound is very smooth and nice, more in car sound than they "waking up ya nabiours" crap you get in Chav rides, lol..

Lol cheers Veejay.

If your w3 can't wake up your neighbours it needs more power lol!

Bump with a price drop.

I'm keeping the amp.

So for £120 you get the sub, box, boot floor and amp rack. Collection only.

A little bit of carpet has lifted on the boot floor on the rop right corner, i'll try and glue this back soon.

£100 if you have black carpet you have black carpet to give, £110 if not!!

Would the boot floor fit with an Audioscape sub-box and Audioscape amp-rack ? Any pics of the underside of the boot-floor, how does it sit level ? Could be interested in the boot floor depending on this.

Just to reiterate I'm not splitting this. I will sell without the amp but that's all.
