Standard exhaust tip made of what?

HI all,

Just want to ask what the standard exhaust tip on my 1991 Corrado G60 is made of?

Is it ordinary steel, eventually galvanized, or is it stainless?

I cannot see it, and before I make any attempts to polish it up, I would like to know that.
