I think what he meant to say is "To give the Corrado the performance and sound to match it's looks and increase reliability they put the VR6 lump in.." Where did he get this saving money by putting the VR6 lump in from?! LOL! They changed the Corrado a LOT to accomdate the VR6, as well as updating the interior etc etc. Would have been cheaper to stick with the G60, but they had their reasons for canning it.
