Justin Bolton 10 Posted April 12, 2012 Can any one advise me on why my rev limiter kicks in at 4500rpm I've got a 2.0l 8v on a 95plate don't no if I can remove the limiter or adjust it to give a bit more as it seems to just be coming in to the power range then change gear it's doing my head in I need more revs lol please help me Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
somersetdub 0 Posted April 12, 2012 I believe that fault is usually caused by a faulty hall sender. Had this recently on a mates mk3 8v and when I researched it, found it is common and my mate ended up getting another dizzy complete from another car which cured it.
