I'v got one off a 1990 16v they should be the same.

No they're different. Mk2's are 02O rod change linkage's and Corrado's are 02A cable change linkages....

I cant see it being different they both run 02A boxes... correct me if I'm wrong though?

I ran my 16v with a 96 golf Mk3 VR6 lump and box for a while and the linkage was the original...
