Almost ready to do the VR6 conversion now.

Flywheel should be coming soon, I hope the samco's turn up next week.....engine mounts and bushes 'should' be coming next week too.

 

Engine fully cleaned out, painted up and new seals and bolts, water pump, chains. all alloy bits polished (even the engine end covers!), head flowed, fancy exhaust valves coming next week.

 

subframe all built up and super clean, brakes ready, rear beam all painted up with new pipes.

 

mk2 is back on it's wheels and ready to be rolled out of the garage so I can get the corrado in at last.

 

Let the transformantion commence on 8th April......the coutdown starts now.

 

(not fitting the nitrous or the 4WD just yet)

Will do, I'll take loads of pics, I always do.

 

Hopefully I'll get it all done in the 4 day weekend that is Easter.

 

I just know I'm going to be majorly let down with at least one parts delivery.......and it's bound to be something REALLY important, like the flywheel.....

Let the VR6 onslaught commence!! Over Easter there will be 30+ Schrick conversions taking place as well as your transplant.....VR mania :lol:
