nlau1 0 Posted April 30, 2012 Hey Guys, So I got a Connects 2 Aux box to hook up to the Gamma IV HU but I need to wire the box to a 12V power source in order for it to work. The box connects to the CD changer socket on the back of the HU to fool it into thinking theres a CD changer connected. But theres a loose red wire which I need to hook up to 12V power. I'm ok with a spanner but when it comes to electricals I'm a bit of a noob! Do I connect the red wire to one of the 2 connectors on the OEM loom? A mate of mine suggested connecting the wire to the cigarette lighter but not sure if thats correct and just want to find out for sure before I blow something in the dash!
