V-Dubstar 0 Posted May 25, 2012 Not sure many people have found replacing the 6x4's to do much difference mate. I put some JBL's in mine and the sound difference was minute!
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted May 25, 2012 I've got those pioneers, they're ok, but as has been mentioned those tiny rears don't make a huge difference. They sound a lot better than the standard rears, anyway. You'll have to chop the shelf a bit to get them to fit, as the magnet is larger. Did mine neatly with a jigsaw. I've got some Alpine SPX-137R in the front, so overall it sounds a whole lot better than standard.
Johnny H 0 Posted May 25, 2012 Thanks guys. Did you have to do much cutting?? Or was it just a small bit to make them fit just right??
joebloggsVR69 0 Posted May 25, 2012 Can't remember how much, to be honest. It's on the bottom, so you won't see it, and it doesn't affect the rigidity of the shelf so don't worry about it :)
