Madjackal 0 Posted April 8, 2004 A friend of mine has advised me I should fit this to gain a bit extra poke, but Im unsure how sound his advice may be, as I understand that the wrong air filter can be hazardous to the supercharger. ADVICE IN LAMENS TERMS PLEASE!
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 8, 2004 Didn't know you could get a Ram-air for the G60. Can't see the point since the idea of Ram-air is to create positive air pressure (which is bollox anyway) and you've got a Supercharger, i.e. pressure as standard  Don't be suckered into it. There's nothing wrong with the standard box and if I had a G60, I would only trust K&N or VW filtration to be honest. Dirt in the G lader is not a good thing. Henny 0 Posted April 8, 2004 Isn't Ramair a Foam based filter anyway? Don't run a foam filter on a G60 or you'll kill the charger as they don't filter fine enough for the supercharger's tollerances... :|
