G60 Resurrection!

Recommended Posts

Morning All,

New to the forum but not new to VW's. Mostly Golfs. Four Mk1's. A edition one G60, 2 Mk3 GTI's (one brand new!), then a succession of Audi's at work, A4 cab, a 2.0T Avant and various others. Currently in an A6 S-line for work but tbh i dont drive it hat much i prefer out works van :-). Anyway heres a pic of the Caddy but more importantly lets get some pics of my current 'baby' up.

Shes a G60 and was owned by a friend who ran out of time with her. I ran her last year as was. Smoothed the front bumper but stuck the plate back on as i knew she was going to be painted. The Alpine Hweels have made it onto the caddy so i needed something nice to replace them so BBS RS's it was! Predictable i know but i do like them on a Corrado. I had the centres welded and redrilled to 4 x 100. Big thanks to Tom at TS fabrications for this. Great job at a superb price. Then it was down to paint. I wanted a darker more yellow gold to go with the Bordeaux Pearl bodywork and settled on an earloy 80s Mazda Colour M5.

Anyway enough rabbiting! Shes going to the bodyshop tonight so i can get her back for the Leeds VW festival :-)

PICS!!!!

Ill get more pics up as my painter progresses with the work........its his only job over the next couple of weeks so should be able to post new pics everyday hopefully.

Got a fully polybush kit to fit whilst its in the shop too and a period alpine stereo and changer. Interior is coming out and going to Motaclean in Barnsley for a complete deep clean.

Got to pick up a new rad and fan for her at the weekend from a member on here then give the bay a good fettle and wax up.

Waiting on some M7 nyloc nuts then i can build up the RS's and get the Yokohama S Drives on and lets see what she looks like.

Tim
