Rad fittings on kr

Hi my rad has got nothing holding it in place so bought the two L shaped brackets that fit on the top but can not for the life of me work out how to fit them anyone shed some light please!!!

Dont have any pictures to hand but on a vr6 one end of the L bracket goes into a slot through the slam panel and make contact with a grove on the radiator itself and inbetween you should have a round thick rubber gromit.

Hi mate

These are off a VR but pretty sure it's the same thing on all

Slot in radiator where 1 of the L pieces goes in.

If there's dirt in the slot clean it all out before you push the mount in.

These are the lugs that push into the slam panel with a rubber bush.

That's all the pics I've got but it's pretty straight forward . If you don't have the lugs with bushes you'll have to find them off a breaking car as obsolete from the dealers.

Thanks guys makes a lot more sense now as missing the rubber mounts tried pushing them in the slots but couldn't get them to fit the slam panel better get on the breakers thread thanks for pics and help
