JohnJ 0 Posted April 16, 2004 And if the glue is not shifting... buy an 'eraser wheel' from a body supplies store: a little rubber wheel that fits on a drill and removes all the nasty stickness in a couple of minutes...with zero damage to the paint! PhatVR6 0 Posted April 16, 2004 cool tip! never heard of one of those before.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted April 16, 2004 I found Evostik 'Glue remover' was the absolute mutts for this. It's a solvent basically and very strong but it attacks just glue, not the paintwork  It softens up the glue in seconds and then you just wipe it off with a cloth...... 8) K
Guest Posted April 16, 2004 I tried to remove the front, smaller section as a tester, and was left with virtually all the glue staying put, I'll have to give that glue removal stuff a spin, where ya get it from Kev?
