Side Trim Removal

How easy? Are there any pins, or are they just stuck on?

Paint is Bordeaux Pearl Effect L6 LC3Y. Is this colour prone to fading?

not really as its a mettalic it should have a good coat of laquer on it........its really only solid colours that fade

And if the glue is not shifting... buy an 'eraser wheel' from a body supplies store: a little rubber wheel that fits on a drill and removes all the nasty stickness in a couple of minutes...with zero damage to the paint! Sooooperb :D

I found Evostik 'Glue remover' was the absolute mutts for this. It's a solvent basically and very strong but it attacks just glue, not the paintwork :lol:

 

It softens up the glue in seconds and then you just wipe it off with a cloth...... 8)

I tried to remove the front, smaller section as a tester, and was left with virtually all the glue staying put, I'll have to give that glue removal stuff a spin, where ya get it from Kev?
