Borbet A 5x100 16x9 X2

Recommended Posts

Would anybody be interested in a pair of 5x100 16x9 ET 15 brobet A's ?

you would need to source a pair of 7.5's for the front to complete the set

but these can be found on ebay.de in singles for not very much, 7.5 in 5x100 is hard to come by but its not hard to have the borbet A re-drilled to 5x100 , cost me £70 localy to have this done, i basicly came across a complete set of 9's and had to buy 7.5 for the front { had them re drilled} so i have two spare 9's that are doing nothing,

i would like £100 for them and what ever it costs to post them, so if you were willing to get a pair from ebay.de and get them re drilled you could have the perfect front and rear borbets for the vr6 for around £350!!

pm me if your interested and ill get a postage quote,

heres how the vr6 sits up front with 7.5 et 30 {was 4x108 redrilled to 5x100} with 15mm hubcentric spacer to clear the caliper , and the 9" et 15 on the rears,

Arghh your about 6 months too late. I was looking every where for a set but gave up as too costly. It might be worth doing the running round and get a set made up then selling on eBay if you don't get offers mate

yea i was thinking about that, just dont have the spare cash to buy a pair of wheels to complete the set although it would actualy be a good investment!

Im really interested in these, can you give me a bit more information regarding getting the rims for the front? I've found some on ebay.de, theres a couple of sets of 7.5 x 16in on there and theres some ending in a couple of days that are 4 x 98 ET35. Would these be suitable? The centre cap is different to the ones you've got in the photo though, are they interchangable? Also these don't come with tyres, do yours? Regards

hi, no tyres just the rims, also forgot to add that i have no centre caps for these either but theres no short supply on ebay,

there seems to be a couple of styles of borbet A center caps, so what ever centre caps the 7.5's come with just source a second pair,

et 35 or 30 is perfect! if you run 288mm front brakes you will also need a spacer to clear the caliper, not sure if its the same for 280mm?? i ran a 15mm hubcentric spacer on the front so my et up front was 15! and didnt have problems even with it being lowered, anything 4x ,like 4x100 should re drill just fine, just make sure its a 16" rim ;) ,i wouldnt purchase a 5x120 or 5x rim as i dont think there will be enough material left, 10 holes is just to much,

also the two borbets forsale arent all black like the ones in the pic, the ones in the pic were my set that i made up and sold a few months back , they just have a black center with bare metal lip but will sit exactly the same as the rears on a vr6 in the pic with a 205/45 tyre

Cool, the colour is ok as the ones I'm bidding on are the same. They also come with a complete set of centre caps I think so that'll be alright. The auction ends tonight, I take it the wheels are straight, do you have any pictures of them?
