Graphite 0 Posted October 16, 2012 Incredible stuff. Its amazing that the previous record holding jump altitude wise wasn't that far off Baumgartner's jump. Col. Kittenger completed his jump in the 50's as part of project excelsior. When Kittenger did one of his several very high altitude jumps there was a pin hole in one of his gloves and his hand inflated to something mad like three times its normal size.
